MR AWAY FIX Cancellations, Refunds and Disputes Policy

Effective date: 15 October 2026

1. Agree before work begins

Customers and providers should confirm the service, timing, location, final price and any call-out fee before work begins. Any cancellation fee must be disclosed in advance and comply with applicable law.

2. Requesting a cancellation

Contact the provider as soon as possible and keep a record of the request. If an online payment has been made, contact MR AWAY FIX support with the job reference, payment reference, amount, date and reason for the request. A request does not automatically mean a refund is approved.

3. Refund assessment

Refund requests will be reviewed individually, considering whether work started or was completed, the agreed terms, the reason for cancellation, evidence provided, payment status and applicable law. Approved online refunds will be processed through the applicable payment provider. Processing time may depend on the provider and the customer's bank.

4. Cash payments

Cash paid directly to a provider is not automatically held by MR AWAY FIX. Customers should keep receipts or written confirmation and discuss repayment with the provider. Unresolved disputes can also be reported to MR AWAY FIX.

5. Service disputes

Raise concerns promptly and provide the job reference, agreed quote, relevant messages and proof of payment. MR AWAY FIX may request information from both parties and review complaints, but cannot guarantee a particular outcome.

6. Payment disputes

Customers may also have rights to raise payment disputes with their bank or payment provider. This policy does not limit those rights.

7. Contact

Use the support contact published on the official MR AWAY FIX website. Before launch, a working support contact and refund process must be confirmed.

This policy does not remove any rights protected under South African law.
