MR AWAY FIX Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 15 October 2026

MR AWAY FIX is a South African service marketplace connecting customers with independent local service providers.

1. Honest information

Users must provide accurate registration and contact information and protect their account credentials.

2. Service providers

Providers must describe their skills honestly, agree clear prices, perform accepted work with reasonable care, and comply with applicable laws and safety requirements. Registration alone does not mean MR AWAY FIX has independently verified a provider's identity, qualifications, background or insurance. Providers must not claim to be verified unless the platform explicitly confirms that status.

3. Customers

Customers must describe jobs accurately, agree the scope and final price before work begins, provide safe and lawful access, and pay agreed amounts subject to applicable cancellation and refund terms.

4. Prohibited activity

Users may not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, discriminatory or unsafe conduct, impersonation, harassment, spam, review manipulation, unauthorised access or attempts to bypass security or payment controls.

5. Provider checks

MR AWAY FIX may request identity, contact, qualification or supporting information and may restrict or suspend accounts where information is missing, inconsistent, unsafe or appears to breach this policy. Do not assume every provider has completed identity or background verification.

6. Marketplace role

MR AWAY FIX facilitates connections between customers and independent providers. Providers are responsible for delivering their services. The platform does not guarantee a particular result or provider availability.

7. Reporting and disputes

Users should retain messages, quotes and proof of payment and raise service, safety or payment concerns through the support contact published on the MR AWAY FIX website.

8. Updates

This policy may be updated as the platform develops. It does not replace rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
